MISSION

To contribute with Venezuela's National Parks and other Natural Protected Areas conservation through citizen involvement.

BioParques relies on five action lines for the fulfilment of its Mission:

1) To create awareness in the society about the value of National Parks and other Natural Protected Areas as guardians of Venezuela's biodiversity and natural resources.

2) To motivate the involvement of different sectors of the society in the conservation of our National Parks and other Natural Protected Areas.

3) To generate information and education mechanisms in order to promote the knowledge on National Parks and other Natural Protected Areas.

4) To contribute with the development of scientific research in National Parks and other Natural Protected Areas.

5) To make proposals and carry out projects in order to contribute with the management of National Parks and other Natural Protected Areas as tools for the conservation of Venezuela 's biodiversity and natural resources.

VISION

We expect to be an organisation capable of giving to Venezuela 's sustainable development:
